Best Wineries In San Luis Obispo – It’s no secret that I love visiting wineries. Tell me wine tasting weekend is coming up and I’ll be first in line! This is one of my favorite things and probably why I love visiting the San Luis Obispo area – the wine culture in the area is amazing.

While I love Northern California and its famous wine country (where I live!), I escape to the Central Coast for a great wine tasting experience. San Luis Obispo County is a wine lover’s dream with world-class attractions and close proximity to Paso Robles and its 300+ wineries!

But I want to focus on SLO because this small town has wine running through its veins. To help you discover all of these hidden gems, I’ve put together a list of the 14 best wineries in San Luis Obispo to get your wine tour off to a great start!

Paso Robles Wineries With The Best Views

Since 1980, this famous cellar has been celebrated for its grape variety: Chardonnay. And while the vineyard’s Edna Award-winning Chardonnay gets the most recognition, they also produce Merlot, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio.

I promise you, it will be a great time sipping Edna Valley wine and enjoying the breathtaking views from their outdoor patio! You can enjoy a guided wine tasting inside the spacious tasting room with an expert for a Central Coast wine tasting session.
