With a prime location near the beach, the new Fergus-style Bahama gets upgrades to the hotel’s main areas, such as several bars and restaurants on offer to raise it to the level of a four-star hotel. The original central pool is still there and there are plenty of sunbeds in this village-like hotel. A program of activities, fun things like bowling or darts and a nice and helpful team will help you stay here. You can go directly to the beach, the center of Playa d’en Bossa and a number of great night clubs easily.
Inspired by Coco Chanel and Ibiza, the decor of the new Bliss Hotel Ibiza lives and breathes pure sophistication, island whites mixed with stylish teak and signature fashionista pink. Think of the large sofas and exquisite eclecticism of Coco’s Paris atelier and you have a picture of this exclusive Cala Nova hotel. There is a vermouth bar, two infinity pools, great gastronomy and a wonderful cultural offer that includes a fashion show (of course) and exhibitions and visual arts. It is the perfect choice for the sophisticated hedonist.
Coming in July this year is the beautiful Paradisi Badala beach resort Amir Beach Hotel with many rooms offering sea views. Along with great styling, expect a range of amenities aimed at appealing to the senses. There is a large terrace area, two pools and a rooftop bar and another pool and bar with plenty of “complex” sunbeds and a beach club. Near the port area of Ibiza is the four-star hotel El Puerto Ibiza and Spa, which will open in the summer of 2019. Renovations are underway to transform the former resort into a modern but sophisticated hotel. Additional space is added, which means that the room is bigger and more for them and the comfort of touch is much more. We were delighted to see the ‘open sky’ natural light space, which is set to dramatically open up the interior space. With a spa, pool, gym, several restaurants and cafes and an outdoor terrace, this is a classic convention.
On the edge of this resort, near the beautiful beach of Cala Gracio, Little Havana is influenced by the wonderful Art Deco, Cubanito Ibiza Suites. Opened last year, this adults-only hotel has a charming retro room that transports you to 50s Cuba. The sound of boogaloo and the menu of Havana cigars add to it smartly. A large rooftop bar, all-you-can-eat concierge service, Latin DJs and salsa classes make this an irresistible gem. Eyes Even if you discover the natural beauty of Ibiza that is widely known, explore the towns on the Mediterranean coast, discover the local culture, ride the island’s network of bike paths, explore the mineral options, listen to the sunset in the beach bars, Nightlife on the beach.
