This includes a full 3 day/4 night itinerary, where to stay, jewellery, goody bags, what to do, photos, stag games and packing inspo. It was the perfect way to celebrate their big day in Greenwich, Connecticut.
Savannah, GA was the perfect location for a bachelorette weekend in Savannah. The city was beautiful with European architecture, tons of green oak trees, beautiful squares and great bars. Before you go, you should know a few things.
Best Places To Stay In Savannah For Bachelorette Party
The girls put together this itinerary for a girls’ weekend in Savannah, which was really helpful to know what to expect ahead of time. We had different return times on Sunday, but the Kimpton right down the street from our Airbnb was kind enough to hold all of our bags for us (since we had to check out so early).

AirBnb. We stayed at the Deluxe Washington Square on River Street, a 4 bedroom, 4 bath home. This was a historic 2 story home with the most beautiful front and back yards. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice and modern the bathrooms were. The location was perfect too, only a 5 minute walk to the river and close to lots of restaurants and bars.
I personally prefer the homely atmosphere of Airbnb, but if you have a larger group, getting hotel rooms can be easier to coordinate. Below are a few hotels worth checking out:
I recommend having some of the girls come in front of the bride and groom to set up all the jewelry and goodie bags.
All girls received a goody bag with all of the items below upon arrival. We also got matching cucumbers which was a great idea as we can all wear them again.
Reasons To Visit Savannah Ga By Old Town Trolley
Staged arrivals with AirBnb. One of the girls served a large Costco dinner that night, along with appetizers and weekend breakfast items including bagels, eggs and fruit. We also walked to the liquor store down the street to get alcohol for the weekend.
We started the afternoon with a boozy breakfast at Rhett’s. They offer bottomless mimosas for $25 pp as well as bloody mary flights for 40. I ordered the avocado toast with poached egg and peach bellini. You can see the whole menu here.
After breakfast we went to the Electric Moon Skytop Lounge which was such a fun bar. We got a bottle of rose and played corn and ring toss. They even had a two person slide that you went down to get to the main roof.
We then walked along the river and ended up in a few bars like Wet Willies. Also, be sure to visit the JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District to see the dinosaur exhibit.

We upgraded to an AirBnb and headed to Treylor Park – Hitch for dinner. They bring a creative take on American classics and seasonal cocktails. We ordered a number of side dishes to share for the table including the Treylor Park Nachos Grande, Fried Banana Peppers and Avocado Fries. I ordered a chicken bisque for an appetizer in BC when I was in Georgia, right? You can see the whole menu here.
If there’s one thing I took away from this weekend’s bachelor party in Savannah, it’s that Savannah is the most sketchy city in the WORLD. That’s why you can’t leave town without a ghost tour. We did a pub crawl where it was nice to stop for a drink at various bars along the tour. Our guide was amazing and shared a ton of really scary and interesting facts about Savannah’s haunted history.
A fun fact I learned on our tour was that during the Civil War, soldiers camped at the cemetery had a bit of fun fixing the headstones with knives so that nothing would make sense, like the dates. The cemetery was also previously expanded around the now enclosed area, so you actually walk over a lot of corpses outside the cemetery.
). I definitely recommend checking it out, they have tons of great vegan smoothies and lunch options. We all had bagels, eggs, avo, potatoes and fruit at home.
The Perfect Itinerary For A Savannah Bachelorette Party
The girls booked us on a comedy trolley tour which turned out to be LIVE! The tour was led by Savannah for Dummies guides who were full of energy and hilarious. The tour was a great way to learn a bit of Savannah’s history in a fun and entertaining way.
You can book tickets for the Savannah for Fools Comedy Tour from various websites, including Get Your Guide, Tripadvisor, or Viator. Our guides were excellent, definitely recommend. They even filmed a mock bachelorette party and dance at the end of the ride, which was fun!
After the tour we went to Sorry Charlie’s for oysters and cocktails. Their rooftop bar was a lot of fun and had great appetizers to keep us going until dinner. Also in the same building is the Bamboo Room Tiki Bar which looks so cool and opens at 5pm.
For the night we all dressed in black (except the bride in white) and donned our colorful wigs. We drove around town looking for a cocktail bar and came across Tandem, the perfect spot for specialty cocktails and espresso martinis.

We had fun staying the night in our comfy shorts and playing tons of games with the girls.
We had to check out of the Airbnb at 11am, so we cleaned the house in the morning and then moved our bags to the Kimpton down the street. They were not kind enough to do it for us.

Afterwards we went to Franklin’s / The Public Kitchen & Bar for lunch. The two buildings were connected so you could do more casual takeout and grab a coffee at Franklin’s or sit down to eat at Public. I ordered a matcha latte and a quiche florentine from Franklin, which hit the spot.
The girls left in stages so those of us with later flights could explore the city for the day. Below are some of the areas we have explored.

If you have enough time before departure, be sure to visit The Olde Pink House. This is Savannah’s only 18th century mansion known for its Southern cuisine. Rumor has it that the house is also haunted, and that a ghost may appear in the ladies’ room during your visit. 👻
