Gold Coast Broadbeach, home to the Pacific Expo Mall and the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Center, has become a popular destination for many international tourists. However, if you venture beyond that, you’ll find a host of other activities and attractions.

Centrally located south of Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach offers a peaceful beachfront setting where you can sunbathe or dine. Plus, with two large shopping malls and plenty of local boutiques and stores, you can shop ’til you drop!

Broadbeach offers the best of both worlds – the area is dotted with hotels and inns and, as I mentioned, there are plenty of shops where you can buy handicrafts and crafts. Also, the walking distance between Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach is just 30 minutes.

Broadbeach is quieter than Surfers Paradise, giving you the chance to relax while being close to all the action. Surfers Paradise’s little sister still has a lot to offer, so you’ll never feel bored.

Australians, as well as international travelers, visit Surfers Paradise for its long, attractive beaches, diverse restaurants and happy crowds. In addition, it is the main public transport area, making it easy to get around.

Surfers Paradise not only has some of the best beaches, but also offers a wide variety of nightclubs and party venues. In fact, the famous Cavill Road is the heart of all the entertainment and activities!

Note: If you are traveling to the Gold Coast in late November/early December, I suggest checking that the dates coincide with the schools (high school graduation parties). Surfers Paradise is the most popular school district in the country and is best avoided during these weeks unless you want to hang out with other 18 year olds.

Along the beach, guests at Peppers Soul Surfers Paradise can enjoy beautiful ocean views and whale watching from the balcony. Very spacious and comfortable rooms with beautiful decorations that make your stay great

In addition, you can also find a wide range of cheap and mid-range accommodation. I have something for every type of traveler on every budget.

When I think of a beautiful coastal area with great things to do, I can’t ignore Burleigh. Burleigh is home to one of the most famous sunset spots, so the best thing to do here is to take in the beautiful views of Burleigh Heads Beach and Burleigh Head Park.

It also has some of the most amazing eateries, vegan and vegetarian eateries along the Gold Coast which make it my favorite spot for coffee or eating and the perfect spot for couples looking for a romantic getaway.

Located south of Surfers Paradise, this resort offers excellent surfing conditions and therefore many surfing events are held here. The best thing about staying in Burleigh Heads is that it’s close to everything – you can take the tram to Surfers Paradise in just 15 minutes or Miami Beach which is even closer!
