Best Hotels In Downtown Dubai

Best Hotels In Downtown Dubai – Modeled after the palaces of the local Arab Emirs, this hotel is full of style and elegance, an ideal location and exquisite dining options.

There are hundreds of luxury hotels in Dubai, and almost all of them have one thing in common: they are all located in modern high-rise buildings in the famous city. They are usually impressive, with amenities and elegance. So, in a city full of luxury hotels, how do you find one that stands out, is different, but still has the comfort we’ve come to love about Dubai?

Best Hotels In Downtown Dubai

Well, there are hotels that keep the latest amenities available in many modern hotels, but take you back to a strange era when people lived in palaces. Looking like something out of Aladdin, Palace Downtown Dubai will make you feel like an Emir during your stay, in the heart of Dubai’s modern and bright financial district.

You don’t have to go far in the city to experience this, in fact, the palace occupies one of the most iconic locations in Dubai. It is actually physically connected to the Dubai Mall with the Burj Khalifa and the famous fountain, both of which are within walking distance. It is indeed a contrast to see these ultra-modern buildings perched on the arches and walkways of an ancient palace, but the juxtaposition adds atmosphere and comfort to the place.

Arriving at The Palace Hotel in Dubai, we drove past medieval arches, walls and fortresses and then down a palm-lined avenue. Entering the hall we find ourselves in a bright open space with a carpet, hanging lamps, additional skylights and fountains of petals and candles. Palace is definitely a fitting name for this hotel and the beauty of the entrance makes it one of my favorite parts of the hotel.

Our room gave us a magnificent view of the lake and Burj Square. In the evening we sit on the terrace and take it all in, even being treated to the famous fountain show below. Although one of the smaller rooms the hotel offers, it was spacious enough for our needs and very comfortable. The hotel gave Axel a bed and really did everything to make us all feel at home. One of the waiters overheard us saying it was Axel’s four month birthday during our stay, and the next thing we knew they brought us cake and sparkling cider. It was a lovely gesture that made our stay extra special.

The room itself is decorated in the same elegant style as the rest of the hotel. Think dark brown wood, ottoman stools and wooden screens intricately carved with Islamic motifs. It balances old and new perfectly, with white sheets and carpets making it as modern as it is traditional.

The hotel’s website boasts that you can “eat like royalty,” and that’s a statement we certainly won’t dispute. Both lounges serve light meals, just like the hotel bar, and the Al Bayt lounge offers high tea, with a local dish based on English traditions and a local dish. Both will definitely make you feel like royalty, but it’s up to you if you want to be an emir or a member of the British aristocracy. There are three restaurants in the hotel, each with cuisine from around the world, and the address group (of which the palace is a part) has many other hotels within walking distance, each with its own restaurant that you can visit.

For us, there is one that stands out from the rest: dinner at Asado. Inspired by Argentina, it’s a wildlife’s dream. Although neither Chris nor I are big meat eaters, the quality of the food, service and atmosphere made us very happy with our visit. At Asado, dine on the terrace at the edge of Dubai Lake and enjoy an almost unobstructed view of the nightly fountain show. They faithfully recreate the parilla experience, so make sure you order something from that part of the menu. Don’t miss the provoletta either. This might be one of the best baked provolone dishes we’ve ever had.

Dubai’s heat can leave travelers in need of some relaxation, and spas fit the bill perfectly. At The Palace you can cool off in the oriental bath or in the outdoor pool. You can also recharge in the relaxation area, use the steam bath or get one of their many massage treatments. We both went for massages and came out relaxed and refreshed. The therapist can assess our desires and match what our body needs to rest and recover.

If you want more active activities, there is a fully equipped gym with staff for personal training. There’s also a business center that includes computer stations, a library, and even free DVD rentals. One of the best facilities is the digital service system they have created. From the iPad in your room, you can order room service and cleaning, watch TV or photos. Shadow one of them, make a reservation at their restaurant and spa, and even buy a ticket Go to the highest place in Dubai. All this without even getting up.

Many of Dubai’s most popular attractions are right outside the hotel’s door. Dubai city is basically a big complex, and the palace is in the middle. Without crossing the street, you can climb the Burj Khalifa, admire the Dubai Fountain and visit the Dubai Mall – ice rink, aquarium and zoo, as well as countless shops and cafes.

Anyone visiting Dubai will appreciate a stay at The Palace Downtown Dubai. Its location means couples, friends or business travelers will find it both comfortable and luxurious. We can also say from first-hand experience that they do everything to make the family feel welcome. There is no area where the Palace does not live up to a high standard and with the quality and choice of food they are excellent here.

Dubai Downtown has three beautiful hotels, all located near Dubai Mall, Burj Khalifa and Souk Al Bahar. Booking one of them guarantees you a high-quality stay. Their advantage is that they can visit all the villages, shop, drink, go to restaurants and relax by the hotel pool without any transport, just walk a long way.

Our first choice is the Armani Hotel Dubai, located on the ground floor of the world’s tallest tower, the Burj Khalifa. Beautiful 5 star service and amazing views.

Located near Al Bahar Souq, The Palace Downtown Dubai is a beautiful luxury hotel with oriental architecture. With luxurious rooms and grand entrances, this is our favorite in the neighborhood.

The Address Dubai Mall Hotel is located in the heart of Dubai Mall and is very convenient for shopping as it is directly connected to the mall. If you have to pay more, we recommend a Burj Khalifa view room.

Hotels in this category are not as comfortable as previously mentioned, but they are not far from the main tourist attractions in central Dubai with excellent facilities.
